Federal Campaign Finance Restrictions

Contributions to Friends of Jan Schneider are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. Contributions are subject to the limits and prohibitions of the Federal election campaign laws. Federal law requires political committees to use their best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Corporations, labor unions, federal government contractors and foreign nationals without green cards are prohibited from making contributions. The contribution limit for this election cycle is $7,000 per individual.
